11 Best Mexican Restaurants

So I figured with all the lists out there it might be time to rank the 11 Best Mexican Fast Food Joints and some that are a little bit more than fast food joints but still can be categorized as not the top notch mexican joints in town. So without burritos, rice, tacos, and enchilada a due I present to you the list in order from Worst to best:

11) Del Taco This California chain that was started in the 1960's all sorts of disgusting tacos and half pound burritos stuffed with beans is by far and away the worst Taco place un doubtingly because they serve Hamburgers. Not even their competitors seem to stoop that low.

10)Uncle Julios
On the what you pay for what you get this almost should end up in last place but Del Taco just had such low prices. With 16 locations I just ask Why? Well it's the most overpriced by far, their nachos and salsa are absolutely horrible, and you leave saying I paid how much for a margarita with no tequila in it? Also if you try the chicken it is always burnt and tastes horrible so caveat emptor.

9) La Salsa
Why and how could I say that I possibly hate La Salsa? Why? Simple its a knock off that has employees dumb enough that don't even realize that their restaurant is really the same as a much better version later mentioned is reason enough for me to boycott and go to the real thing. I mean would you rather have imitation beef or real beef? Thats what for dinner.

8) Taco BellOften called Taco Hell because that is how your asshole feels after you eat this below dog food grade meat and than shit it out. The bonus and reason why you may choose to eat taco bell is that A- Your Poor and McDonalds is under renovation
B- Your tired of being constipated
C- It's 2:00 in the morning your stoned and nothing else is open

7) Taco Cabana
With 140 locations Taco Cabana just has some great deals like a personal pan pizza at pizza hut but instead they do a personal pan quesidlla. Problem is their queso sucks and some items really miss the spot. None the less if you run across one you gotta try it out and down some margaritas.

6) California Tortilla
It's a mid atlantic treat or not. Depending on how you look at it. On opening days hungry bums who can't afford to spend $7.00 on lunch wait in a line for hours to receive a FREE burrito and than ask themselves is this really worth it? I mean it only ranked number 6 on the one i got's blog list how good could it be? It's fair, not expensive but avoid breakfast burritos at all cost especially with the red sauce that is so bad it's not even mentioned on their online menu. None the less they are from Maryland so support and try if you are passing by just don't think you will fall in love.
6)Rosa Mexicano is almost on the same scale as her uncle Julio but fortunately for them their chicken actually tastes good and their margaritas kick but. Unfortunatley you can go down the street to an authentic local non chain mexican restaurant and get just as good if not a better meal and spend a 5th of the price.

5) On The Boarder
People who have been here and meet some body who has raves to them about how they must try OTB and its certainly worth a taste with delicious guacamole and Combos and delicious breakfast burritos a must try.
4) Moe's
When you take Jerry Garcias name and insult the remaining members of the Grateful Dead you must be doing something wrong. Well they have these crazy Seinfeld like names for their food and have tofu which is killer but their chicken is not that good, their carne asada sucks and they are more expensive than the number 1 Mexi cantina and the workers are a pain in the ass about adding anything to your art vandaley if it's not standard because it costs extra. On the plus side you get free chips and a decent salsa bar.

3) Qdoba
Once had some friends from Michigan that were so upset that they could not find any Qdobas when they lived in Florida and after trying their delicious burrito I understand why. The only negative is that they lack a salsa bar but have a great bang for the buck factor.

2) Baja Fresh
One word Describes Baja Fresh - Awesome with a salsa bar to die for with a delicious mango salsa to die for fajitas under $10.00 which at Rosa's house would cost you 20.00 and quick, fast, well priced, and delicious it's a can't lose situation.

1) CHIPOTLE
So I will either get a lot of praise or a lot of hell for this but you have to admit Chipotle is great. It's under $7.00 for your meal unless you get Guacamole and dont worry they remind you that its extra. Also you never leave hungry and with cool iPhone apps and fax setups you can avoid that annoying line because even without this list everybody already knows how good it is.

The simplicity of Chipotle is what makes it so great its 10 things a thousand different ways and now you can sauce it up with their vinaigrette dressing and throw limes on it to make the perfect $7.00 meal that doesnt give you the shits.
Well thats the list you might be saying in the do follow comments below that hey you left out Taco Del Mar and Taco Time. Well to be honest if I havent tried one of these places than I can't really rate it so I apologize but it is what it is. Now who's making those fajitas!

Okay, Dell Taco is good, great soft tacos, but not #1. I'm in cali USA and I love mexican food, and this list is shameful. Los Peroticos is the best.

I used to eat Chipotle every week. The grilled chicken is good.
