What is the difference between a white hat hedge fund and black hat hedge fund? That is a great topic for discussion that is often not brought up. A white hatter may be a value and intrinsic investor like Warren Buffett and Jim Chanos.
A black hatter may be a co-located HFT firm and those that use every cut throat strategy to get to the top and increase profits. As to not make any enemies of people I may do business with in the future I will refrain from dropping the suspected black hat hedge funds but if my readers would like to leave comments as to their picks for top white hat and black hat funds I would certainly love to see what you have to offer.
