Otis is a very popular and widely known name for one thing. Elevators. However, being at the airport today I noticed something that I have probably neglected to realize for years up until today.
Otis not only makes elevators but they also make Escalators and Walkways. At the end of the walkways there is a good ole Otis stamp as well as a marking at the bottom of the escalators.
So is there any competition in the elevator, escalator, walkway market? I am awfully curious to know and I will be conducting some research to hopefully figure it out but if you have any ideas please feel free to post in the comments box below and get a free Ottisian link for doing so.
