Fed Profits 1.57 BILLION from BAILOUT
So with all of these assholes out there complaining about the fucking bailout should examine the numbers and look into how much the federal government and tax payers are really going to be benefiting. In the end all of the tax payers will have made the best possible investment possible for the highest real rate of return. If you disagree than you are a MORON.
With the warrants that the fed sold on BOA they grossed a whopping $1.57 billion due to the price getting bid up after the goldman and JP morgan sales brought in roughly 1 billion each as well.
The next warrants are due in 2018 and will see the fed even wealthier and hopefully the taxpayers will stop complaining by than.

GOOG volume explodes
Late in the day GOOGLE's stock GOOG had an astonishing purchase of shares that totals in value over 545 million dollars.
At 15:29 in market time aka 3:29 there was a purchase at the price of 545.15 or so where it opened and an enormous purchase of 759,225 shares changed hands in that one minute where as the previous minute had less than 1,000 shares change hands.
So who can afford a purchase this big? Well it could be a multitude of things and there is no buyback in place so this obviously didnt come from the G monster themselves.
Biggest speculation could be anything from a CALPERS to a large mutual fund to a savvy hedgehogger.

Ray La Hood wants new Brakes
So Raymond LaGhetto has recommended that every new car that is made should have a technolgy that is designed to stop the car when either the gas or brake is active--whatever the heck that means.
Is he trying to say that he wants the car to have active brake technology when the car is turned on? He is not really specific with this request. So to shed some light on how STUPID LaHood is let me keep it plain and simple.
He wants a way to stop a car in an Emergency situation when the car is on. Hmmm..... Is there anything on a car right now that could do this? Well guess what there is. It's called an EMERGENCY BRAKE and cars have been equiped with these for years so go back to the drawing board you imbecile.
Oh and he also told the Senate Commerce Committee that he wants to shake things up some more with concerns over safety of Jap manufactured products when he visits the land of the rising sun.
